Located within the NUNM Health Center, the NUNM Laboratory is a CLIA-waived public draw station offering reliable, affordable testing services for patients and referring healthcare providers.
We provide blood collection services for individuals with lab orders from both NUNM and non-NUNM providers. Testing options include routine laboratory testing through Interpath, Labcorp, and Quest, as well as a range of specialty and functional medicine tests. We also offer select in-house testing, including rapid HIV testing and fecal occult blood testing.
From standard lab work to comprehensive functional medicine diagnostics, our services help provide meaningful insight into hormone health, nutritional status, immune function, and digestive health. These results support personalized, evidence-informed care aimed at understanding underlying contributors to health concerns and guiding thoughtful next steps.
For Patients
An appointment is required for all Lab services at the NUNM Health Centers. All tests require an order from your practitioner. You can bring a paper order to the Lab, or your doctor may fax a copy. Please be sure to ask your doctor if you need to fast for your test so we can schedule appropriately.

Our laboratory offers a comprehensive menu of services including phlebotomy. Test options range from routine standard lab tests from Interpath, Labcorp, Quest to functional medicine specialty tests and are available at highly competitive prices.
NUNM lab offers insurance billing and low-cost affordable prices for self-pay patients.
Prices are available on the NUNM Lab order form or you can call the Lab for details at 503.552.1987. Prices do not reflect insurance coverage. We charge a phlebotomy and handling fee of $25 for sending out lab specimens to a contracted lab for insurance billing and processing.
