The NUNM Laboratory, located on the campus of the National University of Natural Medicine, is a CLIA-waived draw station dedicated to providing reliable and economical testing services. Our mission is to guarantee the highest quality assurance testing standards that ensure accurate and reliable results for patients and referring healthcare providers.
For Patients
An appointment is required for all Lab services at the NUNM Healther Centers. All tests require an order from your practitioner. You may bring a paper order to the Lab or your doctor may fax a copy. Please be sure to ask your doctor if you need to fast for your test so we can schedule appropriately.

Please note:
- SpectraCell draws are only available Monday through Friday before 1 p.m.
- T-Spot TB blood test available Monday –Thursday only.
- Reference laboratories may have exceptions for certain types of testing, which we must observe.

Cost & Billing
Our laboratory offers a comprehensive menu of services including phlebotomy. Test options range from routine to specialty and are available at highly competitive prices. Tests are performed both on the premises and through outside reference laboratories resulting in convenient, expanded testing options.
Prices are available on the NUNM Lab order form or you can call the Lab for details at 503.552.1987. Prices do not reflect insurance coverage. We charge a phlebotomy and handling fee of $25 for sending out lab specimens to a contracted lab for insurance billing and processing.
